Special Saffron from Iran

Saffron, also known as “crocus sativus” or “saffron,” is grown in Iran, Spain, India, Tibet, Greece, and other regions, with Iran being the largest producer. Iran is considered the land of saffron and is the world’s largest exporter of this valuable spice. Saffron is a rare herb with numerous health benefits, used for over 3,000 years. The special saffron from Iran (Saffron Super Negin) is the highest-quality variety, rich in nutrients, making its effects faster and stronger than other saffron types.

Why is it called Saffron Super Negin? In Iran, saffron is harvested by picking the stigma of the flower. The stigma typically measures 8 to 10 cm in length, consisting of the red top portion and the yellow base. The bright red part at the top is the best quality of the stigma and is referred to as “Negin.”

Super Negin refers to the very first harvest of the season, specifically the top part of the stigma from early blooms. Subsequent harvests are simply called Negin. Therefore, Saffron Super Negin is the finest saffron, and it is the only variety we offer. Saffron has been widely recognized in both traditional and modern medicine for its numerous health and beauty benefits.
